New short-cycle resubmission and fellowship prolongation procedures take effect
AgreenSkills has put into effect a short-cycle resubmission round and fellowship prolongation procedures that were formalized by the Scientific and Steering Committees last month. The short-cycle resubmission procedures were created to allow applicants, whose submissions only require minimal improvement to potentially succeed at funding, the opportunity to resubmit an improved application within a shorter timeframe than that of classic selection rounds. Short-cycle resubmissions are only accessible to applicants who have been formally invited by the Scientific Committee to resubmit within a shorter timeframe. The evaluation process for short-cycle resubmissions is 6 weeks from the date of resubmission, and follows the same reviewing procedures as classic selection rounds. For more information, read the Guidelines for Short-Cycle Resubmission Process.
The second procedure has been tailored for fellow's wishing to request a prolongation of their mobility project. A fellowship prolongation can only be requested within the programme's existing parametres (i.e. up to a total maximum duration of 24 months for both incoming and outgoing fellowships) and provides fellows with the opportunity to extend their stay in order to successfully complete and/or enhance their current mobility project. In order to apply for a prolongation, fellows must complete and submit both a Fellowship Prolongation Request and a scientific report to the AgreenSkills programme management team.
Guidelines for a fellow's end of fellowship scientific report are now also available to download from the Documents section of the AgreenSkills website. The scientific report is a final progress and achievement report on your mobility research project, which will be considered by the AgreenSkills Team as part of the self-evaluation of the programme. All fellow's should write and upload their scientific report on their AgreenSkill's online account before the end of their mobility project.
