AgreenSkills organized Annual Meetings that became year after year a key scientific, networking and training event. These meetings were unique opportunities for the fellows to meet each other and to interact with members of the Scientific and Ethics committees and with AgreenSkills management team. These annual meetings were largely opened to alumni, contributing to foster the AgreenSkills community.
During these annual meetings, the fellows presented their scientific backgrounds, career tracks and projects and discussed their research projects during poster sessions.
With their primary focus on scientific presentations and discussion, the AgreenSkills Annual Meetings were an opportunity to attend scientific conferences from renowned researchers on cutting edge research approaches and topics. Through the diversity and depth of the topics covered, these conferences reflected the spirit of the AgreenSkills and AgreenSkills+ programmemes, based on a passion for research challenges and scientific curiosity.
Moreover, training sessions were devoted to specific themes related to research practices, notably regarding Open Science and Data management, as well as on Ethical issues.
Six annual meetings were organized successively in Leuven (2013), Toulouse (2014), Barcelona (2015), Paris (2017), Edinburgh (2018), and Brussels (2019-the last meeting).
