The Scientific Committee

The AgreenSkills Scientific Committee is structured on the basis of the 7 Expert Panels with 14 members.

The following panels have been defined according to the topics and the biological organisation levels:

  1. Infra-tissue level: virology, microbiology, structural, molecular, cellular biology, biology systems, etc.
  2. Biological individual and tissue level, simple entity level: plant or animal biology, soil sciences, pathology, immunology, parasitology and symbiosis, genetics, etc.
  3. Population level: evolutive ecology, environmental science, agronomy, animal sciences, epidemiology;
  4. Food and human nutrition, eating habits, food safety, toxicology, metabolic and nutritional diseases, veterinary public health;
  5. Bioprocess, green technology, food technology, material science, etc.
  6. Modelling, biomathematics, bioinformatics;
  7. Economics (micro and macro economics, trades and market, management science...) and social science.

AgreenSkills Steering Committee

The AgreenSkills Steering Committee is in charge of selecting the Expert Panels, as well as of appointing the Expert Chairpersons and Deputy Expert Chairpersons and final decisions regarding the selection of fellows.

The AgreenSkills Steering Committee is composed by the AgreenSkills Coordinator, the Deputy Coordinator, 3 INRA representatives (one per each scientific domain - Agriculture, Environment and Nutrition), one representative from Cirad and one representative from the Agreenium Higher Ed. Schools.

AgreenSkills Ethical Commission

The Ethical Commission is composed of 6 ethics experts addressing all the ethical issues raised by the programme. The commission reviews ethical issues in applications and projects and produces an annual report on ethical issues related to the research projects undertaken within the AgreenSkills framework and reviews ethics issues at selection stage.
The composition is under validation process by the steering committee.
