AgreenSkills aims to increase the research potential in terms of people, equipment and infrastructures at international level and better address the key global challenges via the capacity building of individual researchers.
AgreenSkills is an international mobility programme with the aim of attracting promising and talented young researchers from all disciples to develop, within the Agreenium laboratories, basic, applied or targeted research projects with both disciplinary and multi-disciplinary approach in the fields of agriculture, food and nutrition, environment, animal health and veterinary public health. AgreenSkills also opens up opportunities for outgoing international mobility for researchers working in the Agreenium labs.
The primary target of AgreenSkills is researchers holding a PhD with up to ten year experience, career breaks not included. There are no conditions of nationality, or country of origin, the only aim being to attract the best researchers and missing competences from everywhere in the world.

AgreenSkills programme is implemented over a 4 year period providing opportunities for 142 fellow years of mobility of which approximately 20% outgoing and 80% incoming supported by high level scientific stay, individual training and career development plan, ‘the AgreenSkills Pass’, offering each researcher training and career opportunities throughout the duration of the programme.
The very attractive conditions in terms of salary, hosting conditions and training opportunities as well as the bottom-up approach to research topics ensure high the attractiveness of the programme from around the world.

AgreenSkills supports incoming and outgoing mobility from 6 (for outgoing) to two years, the period of time deemed necessary to scientific production, competences and skills sharing, and establishment of long-lasting collaboration.
AgreenSkills enables talented scientists to identify the most suitable laboratories for their research project through prior resume and project analyses. The selection process is in fact designed to help applicants to identify the most suitable laboratories and allow evaluation of both excellence and matching of the combination of the fellow, the host laboratory, and the research project.
