INRA and Agreenium sign contract for AgreenSkills+ with European Union

AgreenSkills is pleased to announce the launch of its successor programme AgreenSkills+. A contract agreement for the AgreenSkills+ programme was signed in December 2013 between INRA, Agreenium and the European Commission's Research Executive Agency, under the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration. The programme will expand on the success of AgreenSkills, allowing for independent researchers with 7 to 10 years' postdoctoral research experience to apply for a fellowship, in addition to young researchers who have up to 6 years of experience following their PhD.

New features of the programme include the provision of two salary scales - offering a total gross monthly salary of up to approximately € 4100 or € 4800 - to better correspond to the range of experience of AgreenSkills+ fellows. Mobility periods for incoming researchers will also be able to be extended to 36 months, from the 24 month maximum of the AgreenSkills programme. Click on the About AgreenSkills menu to learn more about the AgreenSkills+ programme.

AgreenSkills+ will begin this spring, with the first call for applications on the 5th of May 2014, and will run up to 2019. The programme will run in parallel to AgreenSkills during 2014 and 2015 - the years in which the two programmes overlap. Candidates will be subject to the same application and evaluation process for both programmes, including a single template for each of the application documents.

The new application documents, including a new Guide for Applicants and the CV, Mobility Project Proposal, Interview Report, and Ethical Issues Table and Considerations templates will soon be made available for candidates to download under the Documents section of the AgreenSkills website.
